Position: Sessional Instructor part time (August-April)

Applications are invited for the Sessional position, at the School of Dental Hygiene in the Dr. Gerald Niznick College of Dentistry, University of Manitoba, Canada. The position will be a part time (32 hours/week) sessional instructor in the School of Dental Hygiene (salary to commensurate with qualifications and experience). The position will commence August 1, 2021 with a possible renewable term.

The successful candidate will be involved in clinical and didactic teaching. Duty alignment will be based on program needs and the successful applicant’s strengths and growth within the position.

The School of Dental Hygiene offers a three-year dental hygiene diploma and a dental hygiene degree completion program and is located in the Dr. Gerald Niznick College of Dentistry at the University of Manitoba. Applicants must have graduated from an accredited Dental Hygiene program and must be registered and in good standing with the College of Dental Hygienists of Manitoba. Experience in dental hygiene practice is required (at least 3-5 years) and didactic and clinical teaching is preferred. A bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene and or a relevant discipline is required. Those
with a master’s degree are encouraged to apply.
